Programme Manager - German Speaking Regions


We are a cutting-edge, software company based in Zurich, Switzerland in search of a passionate and self-driven Project Manager to be responsible for leading large IT transformation projects for our enterprise customers throughout Europe.

Job purpose: 

You will be part of a highly focused and energetic team that will drive customer success. You will lead the customer’s transformation journeys, engage with executives as well as serve as the liaison between customer and LzLabs delivery and development teams. The role will also involve working closely with our Global Systems Integration (GSI) partners.  Thanks to our work, our customers will modernize their mainframe and enable innovation of their core legacy applications.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Leading multiple projects and programs (full project lifecycle)
  • Manage the project delivery team, as well as liaise closely with functional leads, to deliver projects goals
  • Stakeholder management, including line of business, IT leadership, LzLabs executive 
  • Engaging in the Sales bid (initial estimates and project plans)
  • Strengthening maturity of the PMO processes and tools

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience of project and program management (large IT transformations or customer implementations of IT solutions)
  • Proven ability to lead customer’s engagements and interact with the Client or their chosen GSI partner 
  • Technical understanding and competency on IT solution migration
  • Experience managing onshore and offshore teams
  • Fluent in German and English (native)
  • Ability to travel (30% - 50%)

  • Technical understanding and competency on migration projects and experience working with a busy development organization

  • Commercial acumen, skilled in making project decisions with  Financial, Legal and operational  considerations
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience in achieving project goals

Preferred qualifications:

  • University degree in business, management, computer science or related
  • Experience with mainframes will be beneficial but not necessary
