Financial & Commercial Analyst

SUMMARY:

As the Group Financial & Commercial Analyst reporting to the CFO you will be providing analytical reporting support to the services function, both internal & external analytics to the sales function and financial reporting support to the CFO.

CORE PURPOSE OF ROLE: 

The role is responsible for independent analytical support to two revenue earning functions of the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Produce customer internal business case financial information for long term customer contracts and conducting periodic post contract award reviews
  • Assisting the sales function in producing compelling customer business cases including value-based customer pricing as part of the end-to-end sales process in signing long term contracts. This will involve direct contact with customer prospects 
  • Assist Chief Revenue Officer with monthly sales reporting, forecasting and annual sales budgeting
  • Production of weekly and monthly services key metrics and KPI’s including resource utilisation metrics, customer implementation project tracking analysis and time allocation
  • Customer implementation project profitability analysis
  • Production and interrogation of Board KPI’s with senior functional management
  • Support CFO on customer contractual billing, monthly financial reporting and annual budgeting

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven analytical experience in similar role
  • Customer facing experience
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and strong use of other MS Office 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Qualified accountant with minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
  • Qualified to Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) level
  • International qualifications, ACA, ACCA and CIMA accepted
  • Services and/or IT sector experience preferred
